YOKOZUNA FINANCE TO AIRDROP FREE SUMO THEMED NFT’S
Yokozuna Finance, an IOST-powered DeFi Protocol and leading dApp in the IOST ecosystem continues to create significant buzz among the IOST, NFT and DeFi communities. Today, the sumo-inspired project, announced it will airdrop FREE SUMO-THEMED NFT’s to eligible stakers of IOST and ZUNA in specific vaults on app.yokozuna.fi and to random followers of its’ English and Japanese Twitter and Telegram social media platforms of record as of May 10, 2022 at 23:59 PM Tokyo time.
Yokozuna Finance and its’ $ZUNA token with a total supply of 100,000,000 and a deflationary distribution model, is being developed and guided by an experienced global team and an advisory board composed of professional and contributing expertise from technology, finance, sports, entertainment, media and academia, aims to educate and entertain IOST fans while promoting the sport of Sumo to avid and non-traditional audiences around the world.
Built on the IOST Network for its efficiency, ultra-fast speed, and practically zero transaction costs, Yokozuna Finance will allow users to guide the journey of a young rikishi (sumo wrestler) in hopes of becoming a “Yokozuna” or “Grand Champion”.
When fully realised, qualified NFT holders will own and govern the Yokozuna Finance DAO (currently valued at $100K USD)funded by transactions on the project platform. Ultimately, the owners of the DAO will not only participate in the success of the DAO by receiving distributions, but will vote to support platform and global SUMO initiatives designed to grow the sport worldwide.
The innovative NFT platform with learning-based earning and gamification will launch by the end of May, significantly ahead of its previous late Q2 guidance. The NFT platform utilises several techniques currently employed by other Play2Earn platforms including obtaining Sumo themed NFT’s differentiated with various traits and attributes in slot auctions purchased exclusively with the platforms native token $ZUNA. Yokozuna Finance gamification will be achieved by introducing a Yokozuna Finance metric called PushPower, increased (and sometimes decreased)by fusing sumos together. Users will form their own multi-wrestler Heya (team/stable of Sumos) which will be used to stake the NFT’s against the Yokozuna DAO Fund, entitling them to a variety of benefits including governance and distributions from the DAO based on their team PushPower vs the overall PushPower staked in the DAO.
At its core, Yokozuna Finance’s offers numerous compelling features and an unparalleled experience for its users, many not previously seen on IOST network. The capable Development team has already introduced a robust platform including Double Mining, an Automated Market Maker, an innovative DAO Fund, Vaults and Governance and innovative tokenomics based on ZUNA its’ Deflationary native token.
Following the launch of the NFT system with slot auctions later in May, the future 2022 roadmap indicates the team will introduce a secondary marketplace where users can acquire, buy and sell SUMO NFT’s and related items to accessorise and enhance the performance including increased APY for users. What’s Next For Yokozuna?
